ATLANTIC GROUP CONVENTION

Each May, one of our Wings host the Atlantic Group Convention, with delegates and spouses attending from all Atlantic Provinces. This year we are hosting and planning has been underway since last October. We expect approximately 50 delegates and spouses and look forward to a great weekend May 12th - 14th.

PROGRAM OUTLINE

Friday, May 12th

• Registration 1500-1800 hours
• Meet & Greet 1800-2000 hours (Sandwiches and Munchies on. Please drop in to welcome our guests.
• D.J. 2000 hours - ???

Saturday, May 13th

• Business Meeting 0830-1045 hours
• Parade and Cenotaph Service 1100-1130 hours
• Lunch (at the Wing) 1200-1300 hours
• Spousal Bus Tour 1300-1600 hours
• Business Meeting 1300-1600 hours (including Group Executive Elections)
• Cocktails 1830-1900 hours
• Banquet 1900-2100 hours
• Dance 2100-0100 hours

Sunday, May 14th

• Coffee/tea/doughnuts at the Wing to bid our delegates farewell

NOTES REGARDING CONVENTION

Our wing will have 3 voting delegates as part of the Business Meeting. However, any interested Wing Members are welcome to sit in and observe on a Non-Voting basis.

Tickets for the Cocktails, Banquet and Dance will go on sale at our bar shortly (mid April). Price is $15.00 per ticket. The meal is Roast Beef with all the trimmings and Wine. The Guest Speaker is Colonel Perry Matte, Wing Commander of 14 Wing Greenwood. Dress is Regalia with miniature medals or suit and tie / sports jacket and tie, with appropriate dress for females. CUTOFF DATE FOR TICKETS SATURDAY MAY 7TH.

Parade/Cenotaph Ceremony - Spectators are welcome, there will be limited seating at the Cenotaph, please arrive by 1040 hours.

Raffle Tickets (3 for $1.00) are on sale in the Wing on a Beautiful Handmade Twin Bedspread. Proceeds to Convention Expenses.
