The Toastmasters International Educational Program offers members the opportunity to develop communication AND leadership skills.  The Toastmsters educational program is divided into two tracks:

1. The Communication Track
2. The Leadership Track

CL (Competent Leader) Award
Complete the 10-step Competent Leadership Manual.
CC Competent Communicator Award
Members use the basic manual of 10 speeches to help develop speaking skills one step at a time.  The first goal is to complete this manual to receive the Competent Communicator Award.
DID YOU KNOW!?
You can work towards both the Communication and LEadership tracks simultaneously!  Just check out the requirements on the left and with a little planning you can achieve 2 or more goals at one time!
ALB Advanced Leader Bronze Award
Achieve the Competent Leader award.  Achieve the Competent Communicator award.  Serve at least 6 months as a Club Officer and participate in the preparation of a Club Success Plan.  Participate in a District Sponsored Officer Training session while acting as a Club Officer.  Conduct any 2 programs from the Successful Club Series and/or Leadership Excellence Series.

How the Agenda Works for YOU!

Toastmaster: Runs the meeting and is in charge of making sure everyone stays within their time limits

Presiding Officer: Opens meeting and conducts Club Business

Grammarian: picks word of the day and pays careful attention to good and bad uses of the english language

Ah Counter: Reminds members of the crutch words used during the meeting

Vote Counter: Tallies votes for  best speaker, best evaluator and best table topics participant

Table Topics Master: Introduces and conducts the table topics portion of the meeting.  Should keep the questions for only those who did not have a speaking role at the meeting that evening.

General Evaluator: Comments on the meeting AND evaluates the evaluators

Timer:
Keeps track of time for each speaking role of the meeting
ACB Advanced Communicator Bronze Award
Members complete CCand two advanced communication and leadership manuals that total 10 speeches to improve upon the speaking skills learned in the CTM. 
ALS Advanced Leader Silver Award
Achieve Advanced Leader Bronze award and serve a complete term as a district officer.  Complete the High Performance Leadership Program and serve successfully as a club sponsor, mentor or coach.
ACS  Adv. Communicator Silver Award
Members complete ACB and two additional advanced communication and leadership manuals that total 10 speeches to improve upon the speaking skills learned in the CTM and ATM-B.  Members also conduct two programs from the Better Speaker Series or Successful Club Series.

ACG Adv. Communicator Gold Award
Members complete ACS and two additional advanced communication and leadership manuals that total 10 speeches to improve upon the speaking skills learned in the CTM and ATM-S.  Members also conduct one program from the Success/Leadership Program or Success/Communication Program.  The third requirement is that you coach a new member with their first 3 speeches.

Accredited Speaker Program
Toastmasters International recognizes members with professional speaking skills through this program.  The member must be a current Toastmasters Club member and have a minimum of 25 speaking engagements to non-Toastmasters audiences withing 3 years of the application date.  The member must provide a letter of acknowledgement or appreciation for the 25 engagements.  Call World Headquarters for the application and further information.
DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) Award

There are 2 requirements for this award

1. Achieve the AC Award
2. Achieve the AL Award
