- Favila: (737-739) built basilica de la Santa Cruz in Cangas de Onís.
- Alfonso I: (739-757) claimed to be descendent of Visigothic King Leovigild.

- Fruela I: (757-768) son of Alfonso I. considered by some the founder of the city of Oviedo. killed his brother Vimarano because of jealousy, but was soonafter assasinated for this act.
