Nanofiction: Jack was walking to school one day. He was late because his alarm didn't ring. As he rounded the corner, he came face to face with a robot. It waved 'hello' and then walked on. Jack stared after it wondering what the heck was that.

Someone dressed as a robot.

Microfiction: Peter is eight years old and lives in a small village hidden in the depths of the forest. The world he lives in was ruled by the silent forces of the ninjas. Everyone stays and keeps to themselves because if one person gets another angry, that person would be killed by a ninja. However, ever since Peter could remember, he always wanted to be a ninja. It's a life of greed and power, but Peter saw many of his relatives go out on mission and comes back triumphant.

There is only one thing that is keeping him back from actually becoming a ninja. He always got in trouble at school and could never pay attention to what the teacher was talking about. No matter how much his mother lectures him, he still could never do well in Ninja Academy. Occasionally, he would go out to the forest and try some ninja moves that were taught to him in school. He practices a lot yet he could never get it right.

One morning when Peter was practicing in the woods, he heard screams in the distances. He ran as quickly as he could, only to find that his village was being attacked by ninjas. He watches in horror as his relatives and friends are killed. Without knowing what to do, Peter runs home as fast he can, only to find his home was on fire. He senses someone dropping down behind him, and that was the last thing he knew.

A little kid dressed as a ninja.

One-shot: Something was not right. Lori had been walking for three days straight and still she could not find her way to her destination. Each time she looked at the map, she felt she was on the right track. However, each time that turned out to be wrong and again she finds herself lost. She hasn't seen a town or city for a long time. Following the stars above was also out of the question because it only seemed to further confuse her. She saw no one for a long time but continued walking down the road that she swears she walked down five times before. As she was getting ready to rest for the day, she noticed something ahead. It was a sign, a map, no less. It pointed to the surrounding towns and city. She studied it, and realized the map she has been using was wrong all this time. She traced the right road with her finger and smiled. This time she would get to her destination. She would finally see the world famous panda bear at the zoo.

Edward being lost.
