Rambo: First Blood Part II is the second, and most famous, part in the 3-part series. John Rambo, once again played by Sylvester Stallone, now in jail for his destruction in "First Blood", is visited by Colonel Sam Trautman, played once again by Richard Crenna. Col. Trautman has a signed release form for Rambo, if he will take on what would be a suicide mission for most men. His mission is to go to Vietnam, find the missing Americans who are still being tortured there, but don't rescue them, only bring back photos. Don't engage the ememy, and don't get revenge. There is one catch though, he must go to the very camp he was a POW in back in the war and encounter the same officers who tortured him.
Armed with only a bow, arrows, and his hunter's knife, he once again must fend for himself while he rescues American MIAs. Along the way, Rambo is once again captured and torured by the same person, Sgt. Tay. But he does get his revenge, capture the American POWs, and come out alive.
This is the big money-maker in the box office for Sylvester Stallone, making over $180, 400, 000.
