My name is Vanda and I live in the Huon Valley, Tasmania with my husband of 26years, David, Tessie our dog and two lively new kittens named Jake and Josey.
Since we moved to a bigger house I now have a room for my dolls and sewing to spread out. Now I just need some floor to ceiling shelves!
I enjoy going to doll shows and markets even if I don't buy anything although these days I usually do. I have collected quite a few patterns for dolls outfits and teddy bears and look forward to the day I can sit down and spend more time making them up.I have made a few bears but am largely self taught and would not pretend to be an expert.
I enjoy travel, both overseas and within Australia. Haven't been overseas since 1990 but I'm a keen armchair traveller reading books about other people's travels.
