This is probably the least thought of activity to do while barefoot.
While climbing a rock cliff hundreds of feet above the ground
is likely not best done while barefoot. However, as these pictures show, trees and short hills can easily be navigated without the assistance of shoes. Being able to move the foot in any direction helps with grip as well as in wet conditions and slippery shoes. When climbing rocks and trees, children and parents should look over the area and be careful of sharp rocks and loose material.
