Kind of old but still true as ever: Marketing the War on Iraq

via Gus's post on duct tape and advertising

Re: duct tape and plastic on windows. When I was at college - and possibly even at home when I was growing up - we used to duct-tape and plastic the windows every winter. It kept out the drafts and saved on heating bills.

And a little laff...."Though worlds apart geographically and culturally, Iraq and Kentucky each boast rich traditions of vertical marksmanship." - you gotta click just to see the picture -

Ps what the f*ck are the French up to? One minute nobly trying to save lives, the next inviting that c*nt Mugabe over for a shopping spree. Is their anti-war stance as politically motivated as the US pro-war stance? What exactly IS going on?

It all makes my head hurt.

Must get back to my dull life soon. Must try to start painting again. Been in a creative void for a few weeks, just getting wound up about the news and trying to get over this succession of colds/nausea/periods.
