The two top images illustrate the film elements, shot on two separate sets. The plexiglass plate has red tracking dots, to help match the camera move, and match the plate retracting into the table. Michael F. Hoover did all the compositing magic on this shot.

Hoover extracted the Dr. Yueh character from the green screen image, comping it onto the plexi plate, adding an interesting oily rainbow texture. He also added this frame to cover the tracking dots.
