This started out as a scan of a NASA 8x10 glossy of Pad 34. The waves were cut into layers in Photoshop, and animated in After Effects. Cars were animated in the same way. Finally, a "helicopter drift" move was added in Lightwave. The helicopter move could have been done in After Effects, but it seemed easier to execute in Lightwave.
