He is Master; i am slave
He is Owner; i am owned
He commands; i obey
He is to be pleased; i am to please
Why is this?
Because He is Master and i am slave

this is a simple statement.....if you as a slave can not understand this concept then you had best rethink your place on Gor.....

The soul of the kajira
…..By adeaux

What does it mean to be kajira?
For many slaves, it takes some time to truly understand the meaning of their slavery.
Slavery is more than just a state of the body,
or of the mind
it is a state of being and of being whole
it is a state of spirit
and a state of heart
To be kajira is to acknowledge that the only right that one has is the right to acknowledge their situation
or to live their slavery in unfulfilled misery
a slave has NO right
to serve
to speak
to be named
to dream
to want
to correct
to eat
to sleep
to dress
to demand
to undress
to judge
to expect
to work
to play
to LIVE
each of these things and MORE is a gift from one's Owner
for THEIR pleasure.
so when the slave does each of those things, her mind should be in one frame--that of service, and of finding a way to make the gift of being allowed to do them show....and in this, a slave will be fulfilled....the pleasure of their Owner will become their life....His or Her smiles will become the spark that ignites the slave's belly, and warms their soul.
Their heart will beat for their Owner, their breath will pass over soft lips for their Owner's pleasure, or be withheld at their Owners whim, and the kajira will live, or die, happy to be Owned by this One.

What is expected of a slave?
…..By adeaux

EVERYTHING.....and nothing
Each Master or Mistress will have Their own particular preferences, and above anything else, a slave is expected to know what their Owner(s) require of them..and to accept that they will be expected to obey any other Free, and that that Free may not have the same rules a slave's recourse here is simply to let the Free Person know the parameters of their Owner's rules on the subject, and not object if they are told to proceed by the Free Person's rules. A slave may inform their Owner, but may NEVER directly refuse to perform a service for a Master or Mistress. A slave is expected to serve joyfully, and to understand that service is more than just service in the furs that it includes all parts of life, from scrubbing pots and pans to listening to their Owner speak about a particularly trying day, to mucking out stalls or hauling bosk dung. Every job done by the slave must be tapped through the fires of the slave's belly
in that way, the joy of service will reflect from the completed work like bright sun on a cloud-strewn day, and there will be no mistaking the love of that slave for their Owner talk is cheap, and words are a nice sweet but the meal of slavery is the daily joy of service that shines through every single action of the slave.

a slave is expected to:

Love that which his/her Owner loves......
Honor that which is true and honest and demanding, even when it is very very difficult...... Respect their Owner absolutely, and A/any, either Free or slave, W/who live Honorably and strive for perfection of T/their true S/selves...... Obey without question, any demand, order, or request of their Owner, or ANY Free--for it is not the slave's place to judge the value of an order given to them, or to question a Free's right to request any thing of them, only to comply...... Trust absolutely and implicity in their Owner--that their Owner will treat them EXACTLY as the slave that they are. And in themselves, that they WILL be capable of developing the flame that will please their Owner each and every day......

What is NOT expected of a slave?
…..By adeaux

a slave is not expected
to involve themselves in any business of the Free.
to speak on any situation in which they are not directly addressed. On occasion, an Owner may generously ask a slave's opinion on a matter, but if an Owner is generous enough to do this, a slave is NOT expected to consider this carte-blanche to speak in the future.
to be lazy, or to waste their time in idle play or chatter--there is always plenty of work for a slave, and a slave should always find that work and do it, for the pleasure and satisfaction of their Owner.
a slave is NOT expected to seek praise for doing the things that are their responsibility, even though they may seem like great accomplishments.
a slave is not expected to balk from discipline, but to accept it with true contrition for whatever it is that they have done wrong.
to place blame or point fingers.
to explain, or to defend actions that a Free has found inappropriate. It is sufficient that it was found unsatisfactory by the Free Person...that in itself merits discipline, and a slave has no room to judge whether their actions were right or wrong...ONLY their Owner may make such a ruling.
to forget that they are slave--not for an ahn, or an ihn. There is no such thing as 'friendship' between a slave and a Free Person. There is no such thing as a 'sassy' or 'bad~girl' kajira. While a slave may be mischevious, they must ALWAYS be aware that the things that they say and do reflect on their Owner. And they must always be aware of the limits of tolerance of the Free Persons. For while a slave must ALWAYS obey, a Free Person need never be tolerant, or friendly, or any other courtesy that would be anticipated between equals, for a slave is NEVER the equal of a Free Person

~*~there is a girl~*~

there is a girl, just a girl whose heart is Yours
whose love is Yours
whose soul is Yours
whose body is Yours and Yours alone

there is a girl, just a bondmaid, just a girl
a girl who forgot her place, for a moment
a girl who forgot who she is and what she is
a girl who studied and worked hard to be kajira
a girl who still studies and works hard to be Your bondmaid

there is a girl, just a girl who is ashamed afraid to look up
a girl just a girl who knows better
a girl who lives to please her Master and has let him down
a girl whose smiling Master forgives her
