Types  of  Slaves

BARBARIAN:
Anyone from Earth, considered the prime supplier of slaves. Those who have Second Knowledge and know of Earth understand that Earth men and women make excellent slave stock and are natural slaves. Once someone is found to be a barbarian, they are collared.

BOND-MAID:
The term for a slave girl in Torvaldsland, it means "a girl whose belly lies under the sword".

COIN GIRL:
A slave girl who, with a coinbox and triangular flat bell chained around her neck, is sent out by her Master in the streets of a city to earn money in return for her sexual use. Basically a prostitute.

DISPLAY SLAVE:
A slave girl whose primary purpose is for the display of her beauty to reflect the affluence of her Master,or to display the wares of her Owner, such as silks or jewellery. Often chained in coffle with other display slaves behind the palanquin or other transport of her Master.

FIGHTING SLAVE:
A male slave, sometimes a captured enemy, trained to fight in gladiator style against other fighting slaves in an area or tourney for the amusement of the Free.

KETTLE-AND-MAT GIRL:
A slave girl whose function is divided between household tasks and sexual servitude.

LUCK GIRL:
A slave girl who acts as a good luck animal onboard ship; her use is usually reserved for the captain of the ship, but she may be shared with the crew, usually as a disciplinary measure.

MUL:
The slaves of the Priest Kings. They live and serve in the Sardar under strict anticeptic conditions, and are considered workers and pets. They receive a record scar for each day they do not wash completely 12 times. They are not seen outside the mountain stronghold.

PASSION SLAVE:
A slave who has been bred, rather than captured; specifically, one that has been bred for a particular trait, such as beauty or slave heat or a physical feature. Passion slaves rarely know who sired them, for slaves are bred hooded.

PIERCED-EAR GIRL:
A slave girl whose ears have been pierced; as piercing a girl's ears is consider the ultimate degradation, it virtually guarantees that the girl will never be freed. The practice first became popular in Turia, but is gaining acceptance in the northern cities, especially Ar.

PLEASURE SLAVE:
A slave whose main function is sexual servitude to the Free; traditionally, they kneel with knees spread wide, and hands either resting on their thighs or, in some cities, crossed behind them, ready for binding.

POT GIRL:
A slave girl whose main function is cooking and other menial tasks.

SILK GIRL:
A term used by those of Torvaldsland to denote a slave girl from the southern cities; often used disparagingly.

SILK SLAVE:
A male pleasure slave of the cities; usually in attendance of a Free Woman and kept in her perfumed gardens. Chosen for outstanding male beauty, physique and sexual prowess.

THRALL:
The term for a male slave in Torvaldsland. Normally captured prisoners who do the heavy work around the home and in the fields. They have been known to be tossed an axe to defend their home in times of conflict. A thrall may earn his freedom.

TOWER SLAVE:
A state slave girl in any of the cities of Gor; her duties in the apartment cylinders are largely domestic; traditionally, she kneels with her knees together and with her wrists crossed in front of her, as if for binding. .
