my name is Carolien. The little creature on my shoulder is Mau Mau, our (me and my boyfriends) little rascal kitty cat. I am currently a junior at an American University.
I made this web page for a project in my English Composition class, and am very exited about how it turned out. I really feel that gay men and lesbians' basic human rights are being denied, and I hope that their struggle for acceptance will soon come to an end. I am also very proud of my native country, the Netherlands, for being so proactive on this issue. I hope that this web site can do it's little part in gaining acceptance and understanding for the same-sex marriage struggle homosexual couples have to go through in this otherwise great country, the United States of America.
