You and Vaprrenon watch the little group of bunnies for a while. You sit, and sit, and sit some more, and grow bored quite quickly when nothing much new happens with the whole lot of them. They just sit, nibble grass, sit some more, sniff the air, hop around, nibble on a bit more grass here and there. You cannot understand how Vaprrenon just beside you is watching the fuzzy little bunch so intently as she is right now. You are about ready to fall asleep, meanwhile she is as alert as anything. "There!" she whispers in obviously excitement, pointing to another one of the burrow's little openings to the world. You yawn and shake your head a bit before glancing over at the thing, needing to be able to at least focus your vision to see what she was babbling about. You blink a bit to wake yourself up a bit more, and watch as two little brown ears, each of different shades, appear from the little burrow. The bunny raises its head from the den and sniffs at the air. "That's Mister," Vaprrenon says quietly with a grand smile across her face. "He's a little different from most of the other bunnies; he actually likes to investigate new people and is a lot more outgoing than usual when compared to the others. I wanted you to stick around and meet him." She looks over to the little bunny sniffing at the air, sitting on his back legs now. "There we go," she said happily as another bunny emerges from their little home. "Oh, there's Care," she said, pointing at the multi-colored animal as Mister hops away from her toward the two of you in our little hiding spot, following your scents. "Care's not as outgoing as Mister...that's probably as close as we'll get to her." You shrug to hear that, your attnetion currently on the little calico bunny before you. You watch Mister hop through the taller grasses, looking up at you curiously, tiwtching his tiny bunny nose at you. You smile, trying to stay exactly still so you don't somehow scare him off, even if he is a bit braver than any of the others here. Mister sits up on his back legs again, shaking his head. He sneezes at you, causing you to smile a bit at how silly the little bunny looks by his actions. You don't even notice the orange-looking bunny following in Mister's footfalls toward you until he is right beside his friend. "This is Kyde," Vaprrenon introduces with a smile. "I knew if Mister came out to investigate he wouldn't be far behind and you would get to meet them both," she said proudly, petting the little things gently. "Kyde is like Mister's, um, sidekick. He idolises Mister, always follows the poor guy everywhere, despite how Bunter doesn't like the idea much." |

Vaprrenon smiles, seeing the question in your eyes as to who Bunter may be. She points silently to the little burrow entrance. You look up to see a new, dark brown bunny all but glaring at the two of you from where he is quietly sitting. "That," your ishna guide says with a whispered giggle, "Is Bunter, my little stick-in-the-mud bunny." You blink, watching as Kyde hops back toward the other bunny, Mister soon to follow. You watch the furry little group as Bunter glares down the other two, though Mister seems to care so little about the threat that he starts grooming himself. Vaprrenon holds in a small laugh. "He doesn't like Kyde and Mister wandering off like that. He's not really a bad guy or anything. He just likes to know everyone's there and safe from predators." You nod slightly to yourself, figuring that that explanation is as good as any. A lot of things in the wild will eat rabbits, right? No wonder he would want to protect the others in his group. You smile, glad that Bunter plays his role of bunny guardian so well, and turn to look over at Vaprrenon. Your guide lays a gentle hand on your shoulder. "Come on, now, there's more to see beyond these little guys. I love visiting Allonia and searching for new cyber pets to bring home and love, so you can be sure that there's more to see! I keep bringing home new cute-and-cuddlies, after all." She frowns, thinking to herself as she suddenly starts walking off without you. "Come to think of it, it's starting to get to be a hassle to try and keep track of them all these days...maybe I should stop carrying so many of the little buggers home..." You sigh, giving the group of bunnies one last glance before following after Vaprrenon to who knows where. You does not seem to care whether or not you are following behind her at all for a good while. She turns around only when you see her ears twitch, an indication that she has heard something nearby. She grins happily at you. "This way," she said, waving for you to follow. "I can hear her!" she calls as she suddenly starts running away on all fours. You blink, then chase after her so you do not get left behind. You hate when she travels on all four legs; she ends up twice as fast and you end up heaving after chasing her around! As predicted, you end up gasping for air, bent over as you try and catch your breath at the end of the journey. You finally look up and give a shout of surprise when seeing a large, white face staring at you. Your cry startles the Allonian antelope and it backs up quickly, ready to run at the drop of a hat. Vaprrenon shakes her head, offering a hand to help you up. "That's Drifter. She's another antelope I found in my travels through Allonia. Usually she's a bit farther north where she can blend in better, but she's been known to wander, as you can see." She glances over at her cyberpet. "Looks like she's pretty spooked now. Maybe we should move on and let her calm down a bit." |
