You look up to see a blue creature fluttering over you. You shake your head, half to clear your vision and half to get the sand off still, and look again. The little thing makes a little cooing noise and smiles at you, quite amused by your reaction.

You feel a hand on your shoulder and look up to see Vaprrenon smiling at you, offering a towl to help brush off all that nasty sand you now seem to be covered with. As you take the towl and start to clean yourself, the ishna starts to speak.

"This is Turton, a rare Nioro from Clearwater. They're a desert breed, so I'm sorry about all the sand. We'll be moving along soon anyway." She turnes to the hovering little blue ball and pats it on the head, smiling at it. The little thing nodds and suddenly zipps off, leaving the two of you.

"This way," Vaprrenon tells you as she starts to head off without you. "You want to get out of here, right?" You nodd to yourself and jog after her the best you can through all of the shifting sand. "I sent Turton off to find us a guide for the land. Despite this being the home of al my pets, sometimes even I forget where some things are; he'll help us."

No sooner does Vaprrenon make that announcement than you look up to see Turton and another little blue creature hurring toward the two of you. Vaprrenon smiles and waves, and the flying pet veers off to go back to what it had been doing before your arrival.

"I'd like you to mee Roulster," Vaprrenon says as the new creature gets closer. "He's an Akiri, one of the oldest creatures of Clearwtaer. He'll show us which way to the mountains."You both look down to the little thing, who glances around and then waves for you both to follow, scampering off to lead the way to these so-called mountains.

You all travel for some time before you find yourself looking up at well, what seem to be some mountains...short mountains, though, and you can already see the path through the things. At least it wouldn't be that hard to get on through. You glance up to see another blue creature staring at you all from a small rocky ledge. It baahs at the lot of you as you pass under, but Roulster seems to pay it no mind.

Your little group travels for what seems to be quite a long while. At least, you think to yourself, the path is clear and easy to follow. You all seem to be getting through these mountains safely enough. Clearwater, you decide, is a nice little place if it provides such easy access to its creatures.

You look out on the lush little valley before you, your jaw dropping at the sight of it all. Vaprrenon smiles and pokes you in the shoulder playfully. "Mountains," she says simply, "Keeps one side green, the other sandy, now come on; we have to go meet someone."

You follow Vaprrenon to the water's edge and watch as she taps the surface a few times, sprinkling water all about as she shakes her hand dry and kneals by the bank. You turn your attention to the water, guessing that she was calling something.

You blink as a red little dolphin-looking creature breaks the surface of the water, sqeaking happily at the sight of you and splashing a bit in the water. Vaprrenon laughs. "She's quite happy to see you," she announces with a grin.

Well, at least now you know not all Clearwater pets are blue. You pet the rubbery-feeling thing as Vaprrenon introduces you. "Her name is Dol DeRaind, and she's a Tarnin, very friendly little bugger, eh?"
