You blink after stepping through one of the portals. You glance about, finding yourself in a strange room. It is small, empty, no doors nor windows, and the only color in sight is an off-white. Wait. Your eyes turn to a little yellow blob near your feet. You kneal down as the thing opens its eyes and looks at you. You blink with surprise at the living little blob. "This is Sun Burst," you hear behind you. You glance up at Vaprrenon, who is smiling over your shoulder. You look down at the creature again. "He's just a little jelly monster. Why don't you stay a while? He can get pretty lonely, with the adoption agency gone and all." The little jelly bounces happily and you swear it's smiling at you. |
