You sigh, feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the choices of portals to all of Vaprrenon's different cyberpets. You glance around the room once more before heading over to a skinny by tall blank canvas on the far wall. You look it over briefly before stepping through, leaving a ripple of rainbow colors on the white space as you disappear. You glance around, looking up at the navy-colored, starlit sky. You glance around, looking at the strange meadow-looking landscape around you. You look over to see a strange, fluttering...thing drifting close to you, Vaprrenon at its side. You look confused, also seeing a tiny, cat-sized animal walking on Vaprrenon's other side. She walks up to you and smiles as the large-headed animal gently lands next to her owner. "Welcome!" the ishna announces happily. "These, here, are some of my pets from Harvart's Dracodia. This here," she says, gesturing to the winged critter now on the ground, "Is Myr, a hippo serpent. He's incredibly loyal, loves people!" She smiles, patting the little creature atop the head. Vaprrenon continues. "And, this little guy here, is Milandir." She says as she smiles down at the happy-looking cyberpet by her other side. "Despite his size, he's actually a Dracodian horse. Beautiful, isn't he?" Your guide looks up at you happily. "They're adorable...I love them to bits!" You nod in agreement to Vaprrenon's words, stooping down to pet each of the two cyber pets. Both are very friendly. Milandir wags his dragon-like tail joyfully while Hyr merely rubs his head against your hand to encourage you to give him more attention. |

You smile, giving the odd pair some attention for a little while before you slowly become aware that someone, or something, is watching you. You look up, reacting to the uneasy feeling. You blink, spotting a new creature you had not seen before! It is standing just behind Vaprrenon, looking like it is hiding from you. The Dracodian creature is a bright, fiery orange color, and is tall enough to be nearly waist-height to your guide. You offer the timid creature a smile to show you are friendly, but blink when it only cowers farther behind the ishna creature, hugging her leg for safety. You look to Vaprrenon, wondering if you have done something wrong. Vaprrenon looks down and smiles at the lizard-like pet, patting his head. "This is my little Rexie. He's rather shy, I'm afraid. Actually, being this close to you is a big step for him!" She grins proudly. "He is a Dracodian repster, a rare breed from what I have seen. I'm lucky to have him!" Your guide seems awfully enthusiastic about her cyberpets from Harvart, you notice. You shrug to yourself, offering Rexie a soft smile, if only so the lizard-like creature will not be so frightened of you. After all, if you get to return in the future to visit this lot, you do not want poor Rexie to be still frightened of you! You would much rather be able to make friend with the lot of them. Why would you ever want these sweet animals to be afraid of you, anyway? |
