She gets up, as do you, cracking your back into place as you do so. "Welcome to the realm of the hunter cats!" Vaprrenon announces happily, skipping outside the house, through the kitchen, out the back door. You sigh and follow, glancing at a few dishes on the kitchen floor, two of which still have what appears to be cat food inside. That made sense, as Vaprrenon had already told you that these creatures were cats.

Your guide takes off before you as you glance around at the garden and fields of crops a little ways off from the house itself. It was beautiful, you had to admit. You find a tree stump, obviously a place used to chop wood as you can assume from the axe embedded in the ground next to it. You watch as Vaprrenon calls a few names, clearing calling for cats. She comes over to you, sitting down. "Here they come," she says happily.

You look up, seeing what appears to be a patch of dark moving grass. As it gets closer, you see it's a creature, and whatever it is, it has wings! You blink, having through these might be ordinary cats. Apparently, you were wrong.

You realize this as a sparkling green cat with golden yellow wings padds up to you with a meow. You pick it up, watching him flick his tail from side to side and trying to sniff at you. You can see another shape behind it, flying through the sky at you.

Vaprrenon smiles, catching the pink ball of fluff, scratching under its chin, and smiling at you as you settle the green one in your lap. "That little boy," she starts, gesturing toward the now purring cat in your lap, "Is Yule. He was a gift to members of the Crystal Palace one Christmas. This one here," she says as she nods down at the one sitting in her own lap, "Is Cupide. He was a Crystal Palace gift, too, only for Valentine's Day instead of Christmas." She nuzzles him and lifts up his wing so that you can see the drastic difference in fur color near his rump. "Aren't the hearts adorable?"

You blink for a moment, but nodd and smile as the hunter cat seems fairly proud of himself for his appearance. Yule meows as well, jumping from your lap to roll about on the ground, back and forth happily, still swishing his lion-like tail to and fro.

The ishna glances over at you and smiles, looking back up and pointing, seeing that you are a bit confused as to what you are looking for in a sea of nothingness. "He's right there, the little dark blue spot in the cloud shaped like a pirate ship!"

You squint, and scan the cloud, easily finding it, as it really did look like a ship of some kind. You blink, finding the tiny blue area within the cloud. Were it lighter, you might have guessed it was just a hole in the cloud itself showing the sky, but it was too dark and did not match the rest of the blue in your sight.

After a time the shape gets larger and larger, and you stare in amazement to see another winged cat soaring down to the two of you. It appears to be just about glowing, and pure white aside from bit of blue that makes up its mane. You stare at its beauty as it touches down and frolics over to Vaprrenon, jumping in her arms as Cupide gets out of the way with a startled meow.

Your guide giggles, petting the attnetion-wanting feline. "This one is named Blue Holly Berry. He was a Christmas gift to the Crystal Palace just like Yule, only he's a bit older, I believe. He was given out in two-thousand-two...weren't ya, sweetie?" she asks the hunter cat, who purrs and exposes his neck for you to rub it.

You smile and comply to the little cat's wishes, the two other hunter cats playing now, chasing each other around you and your tree stump. Blue Holly Berry refolds his wings after a moment and watches his kin a moment before pouncing on Yule's tail, stopping the other short in his chase. You laugh to see the three wrestling together in a pile of fur and feathers.

Vaprrenon smiles, rolling her eyes at the hunter cats' antics. She puts her hands on her furred hips and nods over her shoulder. "Well, let's go. There's a tiny barn not far off where a bunch of the Hunter Cats love to stay."

You smile and nod, going to head off when you trip over something--something that lets out a loud yeowl of alarm. You look back at a wide-eyed green Hunter Cat. It blended so well with the ground that you hadn't even noticed the poor thing napping there.

Vaprrenon gasps and runs over, scooping her up. "Poor Moss Garden! She has such bad luck, I swear...that happens so often." She kissed the thing's nose and set her down with the rest of the lot. "You have to learn to sleep on things that aren't green sweetheart," she advises with a smile, turning to you again.
