You look down at the animal, eyes widening a bit as you look at the thing. You completely miss the bright pink eyes and orange fur. Your eyes are, instead, immediately to the six large, blue spikes sticking out of the cat's back! You look to Vaprrenon, clearly afraid to touch her pet, not wanting to impale your hand on the creature.

"Just rub his head," Vaprrenon says, nodding toward her little feline pet. "He likes that. Don't worry. He's careful not to arch his back, so don't worry about being poked. He's really very sweet!" She grins happily, scratching the back of another Hunter Cat that crawls up onto her lap.

You look down at Martin, trying to give him a smile as you cautiously scratch the top of his head. You glance over to your ishna guide, watching as the fluffy cyberpet begins to purr. Why does she seems to have so many horned and spiked Hunter Cats? You would think that having them around all over would end up with an injury or three time and again.

Vaprrenon smiles over to you. "This is Kellinia. She follows Martin around like a shadow...kind of annoying at times, I guess. You can tell when he's getting tired of her...he'll give a nice swat!" She rolled her eyes, petting the female Hunter Cat. "I'm surprised they have both been sitting this still for this long. Usually they're always--" She was cut-off by Martin growing tired of being on your lap and suddenly scampering off. Kellinia was quick to follow.

You look down at your arm, seeing that Martin's spike must have catch your skin as he flew by. Luckily, it just grazed you, and it looks like little more than a paper cut. You could deal with that, at least. It wasn't even full-out bleeding, for crying out loud.

"Zer-teli," Vaprrenon calls. You look over to see a little pink face appearing out of the hay. Your guide smiles and calls the little hunter Cat over. You stare at the pair' you cannot help but notice that the two look oddly alike. It is probably the long, fluffy tail, you decide. Vaprrenon's rusty maroon coloring next to Zer-teli's dark pink definitely helps the similarities as well.

Your guide seems to speak to the cyberpet with her eyes, the Hunter Cat soon giving a tiny, happy meow before soaring from the loft. She lands in front of the barn door and runs outside. Vaprrenon smiles, turning to you. "She's gone off to alert some of the Hunter Cats outside in the woods that a visitor is around, so they should best come out to greet us."

You smile and nod, liking the idea. Vaprrenon gets up, starting down the ladder to lead the way outside. You fall into step behind her to follow, but once you reach the ladder itself, another EverRealm Hunter Cat appears, shoving her furry purple face into yours. You blink, staring at the feline, unsure what to do for a moment.

"That's just Coue, don't pay her any mind!" Vaprrenon calls from the ground level. You shrug, glancing at the Hunter Cat once more before finishing the ladder, soon safely on the ground again. You look up at the feline cyberpet again, seeing that it is following the two of you down to the main floor of the barn.

Vaprrenon smiles, stooping to pet the little creature. "sorry, she likes to jump out and surprise visitors. I've told her not to, but she never listens. I just hope no one ever falls from that ladder and breaks their neck!" She sighs, shaking her head before standing back up and turning to you. "Pay her no mind, it only encourages her," she laughed. "Come on, this way!"

You blink, glancing back at the purple little Hunter Cat rolling around on the hay-covered ground, and turned to follow your feline-looking guide to find more of the same species elsewhere. It should be interesting if nothing else, right? It has certainly been an adventure so far, and you have only ventured as far as the barn!
