You look up as a lightly colored creature walks up to you slowly, her dark blue eyes boring into you, as if taking a gander at your very soul. The creature seems peaceful, though. She stops a few good feet away from you, wary of what type of person you might be. You call to her quietly and she slowly raises one paw, then another.

She makes her way to you cautiously, eyes still locked on your own. It is beginning to make you a bit nervous. She perks her ears toward you and, as the wind begins to blow at your back, she sniffs at your clothing a bit to better catch your scent. The creature finally blinks, and slowly at that. She looks up to you, seeming to trust you a slight bit more now as she approaches. She flicks her tail and stares at you, tilting her head ever so slightly to one side.

You slowly reach out a hand to touch the creature, not wanting to startle her, as she finally seems to be willing to trust you. You pause only a moment, seeing that the quiet being does not shy from your hand. You reach out and gently let your fingertips brush the top of her head.

Her name is Raitan. You blink, not being able to figure how you could possibly know that, but when looking at Raitan's face you can see how amused she is with you. You smile at her, rubbing between her long ears. She is really a very interesting creature, you finally decide. She is most certainly a very interesting little being.
