You feel yourself rush through the portal, feeling suspended for only a moment before you tumble into a new area. You sit up, glancing around to find yourself in another meadow, but the thick patch of trees up ahead makes you wonder.

It looks almost like a combination between jungle and a normal forest. You can distinctly see pine trees, yet you can also see what appear to be large palm tree-like figures right alongside. You shake your head and shrug it off, standing up and brushing yourself off from being on the ground.

You decide to head for the trees first. You are out in the open here, and there isn't much more than grass in sight. If there's nothing much out here, then that probably means that there're no EverRealm creatures out here either. The strange forest ahead seems to be the best choice of action right now.

Entering the forest, you realise there are both warm and cold spots, which seems quite strange. You've heard of such things in bodies of water, but not in the open air, especially with breezes and such; the temperature spikes seem to stay in the same place despite any wind currents.

Feeling eyes upon you, you lift your head and glance over your shoulder, jumping with surprise at a furry face staring at you. The creature backs away and blinks, making a soft cooing noise as it tries to sniff at you. You hesitantly reach out a hand to pet it and it pulls away, circling around you at a trot, and then stops to tilt its head. "Rahonalg," it says suddenly in a huskey voice. You blink, asking if that is the creature's name. It nodds and suddenly turns and dashes off, leaving you bewildered.

"She's a shy one," he hear, turning to see Vaprrenon sitting in a nearby tree eating some sort of ruit that you've never seen before. "She's always edgy around strangers, so she never really stays around long. She'll come up real close when you're not looking, but once she knows that you're aware of her she gets all skiddish again and runs off like that. Kinnda cute. I'm working on making her better with people. She's making progress, even gives her name sometimes, as you can see!" She smiles, swinging her legs from the tree limb. You just stare and give a blink.

"She's not like Rrulgh, though," Vaprrenon says absently, giving you a slight shrug as she sits there. "Now that little one's as outgoing as they come. In a nutshell, the boy's hyper, just hyper. There's really no other way to put it." She bites into the fruit again as you blink, wondering who this "Rrulgh" is, or what he is, for that matter. You watch your guide finish off her small fruitful snack and toss the pit over her shoulder. She brushes her hands on her tail and jumps down, landing on her feet, as a feline would be expected to do, and looks at you with a smile. "See what I mean? Comes right on over to you!"

You frown, not knowing what she's talking about, but you suddenly look up, thinking you hear a deep breathing. You let out a shout and fall back, staring up at a horned catlike creature that was hanging onto a thick overhead branch by its tail and digging in the claws on his hind paws. The thing seems to smile and laugh, sounding like a chuckling growl, and pulls himself up on the branch, climbing down the tunk and romping over to sniff at you.

"See?" Vaprrenon says, looking quite pleased, "Right up in your face to find out about you!" She tugs on the worling's tail a bit. "Give our guest some space, Rrulgh. Not everyone likes you jumping right up that close so fast." The EverRealm creature glances up at Vaprrenon and sighs, sitting back and tilting his head to watch you. He smiles, making you quite uneasy with those saber tooth cat-like fangs jutting from its jaw. You force a smile, though, and rub behind the thing's ear. You soon forget your fear, finding this cloned worling to be as mellow as a kitten...of course, judging by this beings appearance, you can't be sure how mellow that might be. For all you knew, this big boy still was a kitten for his species, despite the fact that he was as large as a lion or tiger.

"Well," vaprrenon says with a deep shrug, "We'd better be getting off, huh? Lots more EverRealm pets to see, after all! You've only met two so far, right?" She smiles and sractches the worling's shoulders for a moment, purring slightly. "He says he'll take you around to meet some of the other worlings. I have a few things I need to attend to. You'll be alright, won't you? Good, very good. Well, so long, then! Have fun!" she says before you have a chance to protest.

You watch her run off and sigh helplessly, looking down at the happy catlike creature. Well, it was time for you both to head off into this strange forest then. You hoped there were still a few new EverRealm creatures to find around this place. You shrug and take a step back, watching Rrulgh stand, and then allowing him to lead you off into the strange forest.

The two of you travel together for quite a while in the forest. You finally decide to pass the time by glancing at all the different leaves on the trees to keep you amused. You pick one here, one there as you walk, and compare them. You find pine needles, huge palm leaves, maple leaves, and leaves you've never seen before in your life. You are poking at a bright blue leaf shaped somewhat like a duck when you look up to realise Rrulgh has stopped up ahead. He is sitting down, glancing over his shoulder waiting for you to stop playing around and come over to see something. You drop and leaf and jog to hurry up and get to the worling's side.

You stop once standing by his right shoulder, and glance down a small hill to what seems to be some sort of clearing. There are flowers all about, hardly a tree to be seen in the area beyond the rim of the oval-shaped dip that creates the valley. There is a small pond to one side, a few boulders near the corner of the other. You see some colors on the opposite side of thost rocks, but you are too far to tell exactly what they might be, perhaps more flowers. What catches your attention at this point in time, however, is a small deer-sized creature drinking from the pond. The water is reflecting off the creature's silvery hide, you realise, and creating a rainbow over the being's chest.

The worling at your side gives a barking sort of growl and starts to run down the hillside to the other creature, who instantly snaps its head up to see who is coming. Rrulgh waits at the bottom of the slope for you, but you find the area to be steeper than you originally though and end up tumbling into him at the base. The silvery creature seems to whinney a laugh and gallopes over to the two of you, watching as the feline worling licks his paws and tries to straighten out his fur.

You sigh and sit up, lokking at the new creature. You stand and reach out, petting the small worling gently down her strange mane. It feels like bubbles, for lack of a better word. The soft fuzzy feeling of soap suds, but your hand is neither wet, nor slimey at all. You smile and hear yourself saying aloud how you wish you could know the creature's name, as it seems clear that neither of these two worlings can speak to tell you. "Her name is Tidingspin," a voice calls to you, "Just another worling, the first to come here, in fact."
