Segment 1:  Tuning a Guitar

Narrator:  Hi, this is Mr. Vargas; please follow along by matching the notes on your guitar to those played on the guitar in this video.  That being said, let’s get down to business and tune your guitar!

Sound:  At this time an “E” note will be played on the video for the students to match.

Narrator:  I will now play a few measures of an “E” chord using a simple 4/4 rhythm.  Please follow along.  If your guitar is properly tuned, our guitars should sound very similar.
