1. When rank of Life Scout has been achieved request the "Life to Eagle Packet" from the unit committe. |

|
2. Review the "Life to Eagle Packet" with your Unit Leader. |
|
|
|
3. Identify possible Eagle projects by contacting local charities, community organizations, school, and city representatives. |
|
|
|
4. After project has been identified the Eagle Candidate meets with a representative of the benefitting organization to receive approval on the project concept. |
|
|
|
5. The Eagle Candidate meets with his Unit Leader and/or Unit Advancement Committee to complete Project workbook. On page 2 of the project workbook the plan is listed along with how the project will benefit the organization receiving service. On page 3 a description of how the project will be carried out is listed. |

|
6. The Eagle Candidate meets with the individual from the benfiting organization to obtain approval signature on page 3 of the workbook. |
|
|
|
7. The Eagle Candidate meets with the Unit Leader to obtain approval signature on page 3 of the project workbook. |
|
|
|
8. The Eagle Candidate meets with the Unit Committee to obtain approval signature on page 3 of project workbook. |

|
Warning- No work may begin on your project before approval is obtained from the DISTRICT ADVANCEMENT COMMITTEE. |

9. The Eagle Candidate schedules meeting with the District Eagle Chairman to present his Eagle Project. |
|
|
|
10. Meeting is held with Eagle Candidate and District Eagle Chairman to discuss project. The review includes discussion on project plan, development of project and leadership requirement. The remaining pages of the project workbook are explained to successfully complete project. The District Eagle Chairman signs workbook. The project is now approved and work may begin. |
