Pictures 2 and 3 show from frontal and 3/4 angle gun in the whole. In these it is easiest to notice the second barrel addition on top of the original barrel. this has two effects. First is on the aiming, where is actualy from the gunner's view aim is raised for about 1/2'' in order to eliminate the aiming distortion that is caused by a jerk upon firing a shot, while second effect is less important and it is the "power" effect where it makes gun look massive which always has certain dose of fear on enemy! Pictures 4 and 5 are more of a close up on the body of the gun. The two significant things here are the trigger area and the flip mechanism of the bullet drum. The trigger has reenforced front and a slight "spike" which helps in case of getting hit by debris or a bullet in a critical area of the shooting hand, and as well in stronger physical hit on, lets say the head of an enemy that Vash is not intending to shoot up! Second, the flip mechanism is another real world feature that has been one of the most helpful things in quick and massive duel and gundowns during the "wild west" era. The automated drum ejection mechanism helps Vash reload much faster than normaly and also ensure a safe reload on the run! |

| Here is a a bit detailed breakdown of the gun. On this picture there is few more VERY IMPORTANT things that are noticable. Except a bit better explanation of the double eject mechanism, there is the look of the bullet drum with release-and-reload handle. Next is a much important Angel Arms trigger/chamber. This one is located in lower part of the upper double barrel. It usage is to trigger and activate the transformation of the Colt into the magnificent AA. A very powerful weapon that is given on usage exlusively to plants in the show (i.e. Vash the Stampede and Millions Knives) Now i bet some of you are wondering that if the top part is an aiming rail and AA trigger, than how does he shoots the bullets through the lower the real barrel. This also can be read from the breakdown. Even though the firing needle is in same position as in any other revolver the actual impact part is on the bottom of the needle and not on top as it is in normal guns!! That is it from me about this most extraordinary weapon!! |

| Photos above show the Vash's .45 in several different angles. Picture 1 has the side profile of the gun. In thsi picture it is easy to see the resemblance with the General .45 in extended barrel and the handle. Also another resemblance that is easy to see is the design of the drum. it is completely solid without the bullet ridges which was a trademark of the Remington's .45 |
