• Generalized, conditional and potential symmetries of PDEs.
• Existence of equivalence transformations allowing variable separation for PDEs.
• Application of Lie groups to bifurcation theory.
• Group properties of Lagrangian and Hamiltonian systems of interest for classical continuum mechanics and mathematical physics.
• Derivation of new conservation laws and their application in physics and engineering.
