I hear a voice calling to me
Where it comes from
I do not know...
Who is calling
I do not know...
All I know is that it calls
And my heart answers

Who are you that calls me
That makes my heart
Cry out after you

And makes my soul yearn
Your call touches me
And makes me tremble inside

Why do you reach out to me
And yet remain so distant
Can you not reach
This far here on this plane
Can you only touch
With a feather like touch
Because you are so far away

I feel like you are in pain
Pain caused by love ungiven
Pain caused by loneliness
Pain caused by yearning
In only a way a soul
Can yearn for it's mate
And can ache for it's lack

Your call stirs my deepest river
And it stirs the pain
Within my own soul
The love ungiven
The loneliness that torments
The yearning that craves
And is not yet satisfied

Your call reaches for me
And my own call answers
Because somehow it feels
Like we would fill each other
With the love we need
Chase the loneliness away
And satisfy the soul's deepest craving

So some how let me know who you are
And I will stretch out
With all my heart and soul
I will summon all my power
So we can embrace each other
And make each other whole
And end this torment
