What Now?

What now?
As far as I can tell
There is nothing for me
No one to go to
No where to be
Where I am wanted
So what now?

Is this a beginning?
A beginning for a new life
A path where the sun shines
Where it is always passionately hot
But just right for cuddling too
Where all is shared
Is this my new beginning?

Or is this the end?
Does my path end here
Because there has been
Deep happiness and joy
Along with heart stopping sorrow
With tears and agony
Do I end here?

I don't know anymore
In many ways it seems
Like a beginning with promise
Hope for real lasting happiness
And yet it feels like the end
Where the path ends
On a cliff
And all that is left
Is for me to jump
And end...
