The Mad Primogen

   Gabrielle was Embraced in the eighteenth century for her skill in painting. Her sire travelled with her all over the world, refining her talent and also training her as a classical singer. At some point in the mid-nineteenth century, her sire cut loose her apron strings, and Gabrielle immediately did something stupid: she Embraced someone who wasn't ready. Her first childe, an Irish immigrant-turned-reknowned singer, sat out in a field one morning and burned to death in the sun.
   After this, Gabrielle went to India, where she blended in with the British conquerors. She met a very young poet, a prodigy among his own people, and became his patron. She spent many years watching him so that she wouldn't make the same mistake twice. She Embraced her second childe, Devi, on their way to America.
   They moved to Atlanta, where they lived for several decades. Gabrielle became Primogen, with Devi at her side, acting as replacement whip when necessary. They both grew in talent and popularity. Unlife was good.
   Then the Sabbat came.
   Nearly the entire Kindred population of Atlanta was wiped out, including her beloved Devi. When Gabrielle saw her childe sliced in half by a freak with a sword, she flew into an insane frenzy and took many Sabbat down before the fight was over, earning the grudging respect of the Gangrel Primogen.
   Now, Atlanta is in a state of repair, and Kindred are being allowed back into the city. Gabrielle couldn't really care less. She has been completely changed from the person she used to be, and doesn't like it one bit. She even took to being called Lilith, for the mother of sorrow. If it hadn't been for her sire coming to town and smacking her around, she wouldn't even bother coming to Elysium anymore. But duty is duty, even for a Toreador...
