Name: Lydia Angelique Whittaker
Description:
Lydia is a very tall young lady, standing 5'10" (it runs in the family...). She looks to be about seventeen or eighteen, but her ID says that she is twenty-three. She isn't a ravishing beauty, but she would definitely be more attractive if there weren't so many things working against her... She carries herself with great dignity and grace, but it her limbs are just too long and gangly. She has a few interesting curves, but still seems like the kind of girl who was called "Beanpole" in grammar school. She has curly coppery red hair that reaches the middle of her back. Her deep-set eyes are grey and seem to have a black sheen. They are dead looking and constantly underscored by dark circles. Her skin is also entirely too pale, accentuated with a myriad of light freckles.
She wears black no matter what. She prefers simple clothes-bottoms and a top. She doesn't dress like a nun, but she doesn't wear anything strange. No corsets, no PVC, no useless buckles, zippers, or straps. Just clothes.
Her accesories consist of a black golf umbrella, a fan of black feathers, a huge black bag, an old silver pocketwatch on a fob, a round silver filigreed locket, and black beaded combs in her hair.
Name: Galina (not her True Name)
Seelie/Unseelie Legacies: Hermit/Riddler
Court: Unseelie
Kith: Sluagh
Seeming: Wilder
Description:
Galina is even taller in her fae mien-just over six feet-and every bit of her is freakishly elongated. Her skin is much paler in a white, unhealthy way, and her freckles are gone. Her nose is almost non-existant, her lips are thin and pale, and, of course, she has no teeth. It smells as if she was left in a damp closet for a few years. Her eyes are beady, black, and sunken, permanently rimmed with dark circles and glistening with disturbing thoughts. Her grace and poise are terrible to behold in such a grotesquely thin body. You could almost swear that her bearing borders on sidhe-like sometimes... Her hair is just as long, but straight and dull black. It is still held back with the same black beaded combs.
Her voile is a long-sleeved, high necked black silk dress that leaves nothing to the imagination (not that you want to imagine what a sluagh has...). There are tiny crystal shards that form borders of spirals at the wrists, neckline, and hem. She always has a handkerchief tucked into her sleeve.
This is covered by an overlay with iridescent black feathers for the skirt and a low-cut black velvet vest embossed with spirals. Her black slippers are also decorated with crystals around the top.
At her waist she has an ornately engraved ebony box [her purse] and the old pocketwatch. The large feather fan shimmers with glamour. Her umbrella is still just an umbrella.
Her voile is very beautiful and obviously well made, but is worn with many beads missing. Her hems are frayed and there are some feathers missing from her overlay. Her pocketwatch is covered in heavy black tarnish and it creaks audibly when opened. The feathers on her fan are a bit matted, as is the velvet of the overlay's vest. The ebony box has many dents and scratches in it's lacquered surface. The only thing that isn't affected by this decay is her locket, which remains bright and beautiful, shining with an inner light.
There is a cluster of three chimerical roses held to the back of her left hand by vines with wicked thorns. Two of the roses are withered and dead. The last is in full bloom and so dark a red that it is nearly black. There is a tiny spiral of vine wrapped around her ring finger.
