an exquisite
dandelion seed
born by the breeze
rolling and pausing
in hollows a while,
sometimes snagged
by welcoming nooks,
then tearing free
to be blown across
new fields once more.
In spring
green waves
of sprouting plants
mark the resting place
of these fantastic dancers.
Life is
pulled by its bootstraps.
