Wild flowers
 chosen with love
 and wreathed into a circle
 of hope.
 Choose forgetme nots
 and amaranths
  for blue,
 yellow Lazarus daisies
 for resurection,
 white dandelion blooms
 for modest purity
 and poppies red
 from the blood of the cross,
 for people still
 crucify each other.
 Weave in a lot
 of green stalks of wheat
 anticipating
 that May
 the  month of births,
 will usher peace.
