Come Muse, inspire me
 to heights poetic
 scaled by few
 and seldom held for long,
 give me words that sing,
 and dance and paint,
 rhymes that reverberate
 intoning a song
 interleaved
 within the transient pattern
 of our common
 DNA.
 Muse give me,
 an impeccable poem
 of pure yearning,
 moving
 and strong.
