Lucky was for sale for $79.99 in a Hampton Roads Pet Store. The people at the store said nothing was wrong with Lucky's ears. When several people insisted that there was a problem with his ears, the store consulted with a veterinarian. They said they would not do the surgery, because they have a business to run and they could not recoup the money. Thanks to IguanaFIRST of Virginia, Lucky was released for free. Lucky's ears were drained at PetCare in Virginia Beach.
