Bowlings

My G-G-G-grandparents were John Henry Lockhart and Eleanor Bowling Lockhart. John was born about 1807-1809 in Tazewell , Va.
Eleanor was born about 1816.

Eleanor Bowlings parents were  Benjamin Bowlings and Nancy Lockhart Bowling.  Benjamin was born 1792 and died Oct 13 1870. Nancy Lockhart was born 1790 and died Oct 1865. I am still unable to find the parents of Nancy Lockhart.

Benjamin's parents were Jerret Bowling  and Eleanor Garrison. Jerret was born 1/18/1762 and died 1/2/1856. Eleanor was born about 1765 died about 1831.

Jerret Bowling's parents were Benjamin Bowling Jr. and Winifred  Garrison. Benjamin was born Sept 18, 1732 and died ? Winifred Garrison was born 1735 Died ?

Benjamin Jr's parents were Benjamin Bowling and Mary Lathem. Benjamin Sr. was born 1696 died ? Mary Lathem was born 1704 and died Dec.5 1735 They married on July 7 1725.

If all this is confusing to you then you are in the right family. I too,am confused.
The best I can tell is that my Linna Bowling's grandfather William Bowling, was the brother to Benjamin Bowling ( Eleanor Bowling Lockhart father).
