I have been musing on this for a while, it only impacts at the moment two existing characters (and may not actually impact them, if they choose not to take advantage of it, with both being spellcasters they may want to stay focused on gaining spellcaster levels anyways), but it might influence future decisions.
Anyways, here it is -- the Aristocrat gets the following improvement:
At 2nd level and every 3 additional levels thereafter (5th, 8th, etc.) the Aristocrat gains a bonus feat from the following list:
Exotic Weapon Proficiency (select one weapon)
Leadership
Mounted Combat
Quick Draw
Skill Focus (select one skill)
Track
Weapon Focus (select one weapon)
The Aristocrat must meet any prerequisites for a selected feat normally.
This change is effective immediately -- so if either Miya Hatori or Noku want to take a second level of Aristocrat instead of their 4th level of Sorcerer or Wu Jen respectively, they may do so. However, I suspect that both the spellcasters will stick with their spellcasting class for now.
Later, they may well take at least one more Aristocrat level in order to take advantage of all the 2nd level benefits -- +1 BAB, skill points, +1 Will save, and now the bonus feat, which makes that level a lot nicer.
Regarding Track: Aristocrats actually do get Wilderness Lore as a class skill, and some dilettante hunters do learn to Track eventually, after enough exposure to the concept during more organized 'noble' hunts. One thing that Aristocrats have is the advantage of being tutored in a variety of activities, and the hunt is often one of them, whether for sport or for meat...
With at least three of the feats on the list being able to be taken multiple times, an Aristocrat would not be required to take any of the more exotic (so to speak) ones - Skill Focus alone could be taken at every opportunity (despite being one of the more underpowered feats normally) and the character would never run out of options!
