After some consideration Zenako proposes the following division of treasures, with the addition and inclusion of some of Zazu's estate to the overall treasures. (If anyone needs the values of any specific item, feel free to ask, but most can be found in the books.)
Zenako: Periapt WIS +4, (turn in Periapt WIS +2) (Lots of the Mundane weaponry not given to the Armory of Marike) and 1100 Gold
Hatori: Crystal Ball and 100 Gold
Isaku: Periapt WIS +2 (turn in Necklace of Fireballs)
Zazu: rest in peace
Ashiko: Dust of Dryness, Obsidian Dagger, Wand of Shocking Grasp (17 ch) and 3089 gold
Noku: Spell Book, Pearl of Power (3rd level), Potion:Charisma, Crane Feather Talisman, Umbrella Talisman, 4 flasks of Acid, Liquid Smoke, Ink Brush and Paper and 2000 gold
Mulan: Bag of Holding, Katana +2, Assorted minor stuff from Zazu's estate, 36 Masterwork Short arrows and 500 gold
Gorvak: Necklace of Fireballs, 3 potions CLW, 8 Obsidian Short Arrows, Masterwork Scimitar with Gold Gilt hilt and 3089 gold
Kiko: 6 Darts with wasp Venom, 1 arrow giant wasp venom, 3 masterwork arrow giant wasp venom, Yumi of Chien Mu - Masterwork Mighty (+1) Short Composite Bow and 1000 gold
Blossom: Stuff back and 500 gold
Boombar: Stuff back + two short swords and 500 gold (He also got a gift from Gorvak of a +1 Shortsword - nice gift)
Marike: 90 Ashigaru armor, 68 Shortswords, 16 lxbows, 45 poor yaris, 140 poor bolts, 560 poor arrows (the retail value of this is a few thousand, but probably better spent this way)
I believe that most of the choices should be pretty obvious. I made sure that Noku got some cash to afford him the chance to write some new spells into his book from the found spellbook, without having to sell off his possessions this time. As can be seen in the distributions, this was the richest, yet bittersweet, haul made to date. The total value of the treasure found was over 80K and over 100K with the addition of Zazu's estate (mostly in the Periapt) (while about half the value of the main haul was in the Crystal ball).
Zenako noted that Kiko bears a Yumi on her person, and it seems that she shares a kindred spirit with Zazu, which is why I choose her for the Yumi that Zazu bore.
As Miya Hatori indicated, he has lept from the back of the back in treasure distribution valuations, to the front, by a goodly margin.
I would also suspect that we may wish to give our WuJen ally some time to transcribe some spells, since he has also now reached a new level of power. (which was why I deemed him most suitable for the Pearl, since this will significantly increase his ability to cast 3rd level spells, and he has demonstrated a willingness to share his devices when it was needed in any case.
The Katana goes to the aspiring Noble Mulan, so that she might have a worthy weapon to wield once she is fully in her station. (I will be able to awaken my own when I go up to 7th level, and in any case, it would be unseemly to use another blade which is not really much better than my ancestors blade.) (And if I need a +2 weapon, I have the Nagamaki which I can also use from Horseback.)
As for Gorvak, he gets the Necklace from Isaku, which could see him using on piles of foes, as he drops down a ground zero blast! Especially if someone gives him a Resist Fire spell first.
If we do spend another few weeks in Marike, mastering spells (I am assuming that the three who went up levels are all planning on taking another level in their spell casting class at this point), training, scrying, then I will plan on stopping by our friendly Smith Matoko to pick up the next ordered item in the list.
If anyone wants specific cash equivalent items (gems, jewels, necklaces, etc) they can ask for them, and unless a conflict exists, you can have them. (Like for example the 6 Jade amulets worth 100 gold each.)
Just like PC's get experience when on the sideline, I feel it is ok to include them at a lower level for treasure division if it makes sense. Like we did with the Armor that Gorvak now wears.
May Zazu's memory be a blessing and may those who bear his gifts, pray for his spirit. (and I am sure we are all curious about who shall appear in his place...)
