SESSION 14 Addendum A: What's upcoming...


Well sometime soon I presume ErnieSan will let us know if anyone went up a level from last time (still have a couple weeks before the next session (August 17th), but if questions arise need some time to ask and answer them.)

I assume that much of the interaction with our Spell Casters and the Barbarians in the village and the Du'oc Cuoc will be handled offline or ahead of time. Will be interested in how things turn, (some as Zenako, more as Peter...)

Our plan upon the return of the summoners will be to head back to the ruins and start from the SE corner and move up along the east side of the map. We might be able to explore much of the region outside the central keep/temple during this session. We have the large building 1) Great Shrine of the Enlightened One first on the list, then the 2) Mill followed by the 3) Shrine of the Lucky Gods, we then move across some regions of peasant 4) buildings with Hopping Vampires, this would then bring us up to the 5) Jito's estate , the 6) Mirumoto Dojo and the 7) Kappa Hall. That would cover all the significant structures remaining outside of the Main Complex, and would likely be a full play session I would think.

Noku/Jon has raised the question about encampment defenses, but we probably do not have to deal with that for the next session, but should be thinking of what is most practical to do in the future. How much sleep/rest do characters need to renew spells or not be hampered in battle the next day. (will look through books to see what answers lie within them already if we need to pull allnighters or double watches...)

Perhaps Knowledge types could review Hopping Vampires for collective wisdom on them and for skeletons. Except for the vampires, we received no other foe info from the Lone Samurai aiding the Vanara.

It was Zenakos intention to hold off dividing the spoils until we had more spoils to divide, but the PCs entrusted with the potions we found continue to carry them for now. Prot Arrows - Noku, Neut Poison - Isaku, Swimming - Gorvak, Cure Mod Wounds and Cats Grace - Zenako. Use them if needed.

The proposed timeline was after returning to basecamp in late morning on 12/13/1561, that Hatori, Ashiko and Noku, along with a portion of the barbarians were to return to the village that afternoon. The rest of us would remain at the basecamp and treat our wounds.

On 12/14/1561 those at basecamp would rest, perhaps exercise new abilities, and get healed. Zenako Tilk, Gorvak and Isaku and Mulan had remained behind. Isaku can cast a number of healing spells and help anyone who was heavily wounded. Zenako was merely scratched (5 points on damage on the 13th, not sure how much was left on others, but if I read the healing rules correctly, I won't even need any spells to be all healed by the next day (the 15th).) In the village, our casters will hopefully resolve what they need to and perhaps return late on the 14th, or perhaps not until the 15th. The plan is to wait until they return. If by the night of the 15th they have not returned to the camp, we will set out on the morning of the 16th to head back to camp, with intentions to follow their tracks (albeit two days old) back to the village and see what is keeping them.

On the first morning after their return, we make preparations and return to the ruins and explore as indicated above, unless we have some divinations which lead us in other directions....
