"Well sometime soon I presume ErnieSan will let us know if anyone went up a level from last time (still have a couple weeks before the next session (August 17th), but if questions arise need some time to ask and answer them.)"
Nag, nag, nag... :)
Okay, so I have done experience, and Zenako does make it to 8th level -- nobody else goes up, though it is likely that everyone who is involved next session other than Zenako will advance, and possibly even someone who misses the session. There are two characters in the 27-28k range, two in the 26-27k range, and two in the 25-26k range.
Then there is Til'k'chek -- who becomes the 'close but not quite' champion, just 14 xp shy of 7th level! Heck, a really good dream could get him over the next hurdle... :) So, assuming he survives, he'll hit 7th level by a wide margin while most of his companions are just leaving 7th for 8th.
Pete, you can finalize Zenako's ability score and skill choices for this new level any time, and Laura can witness your hit die roll if you like.

P.S. -- The Doc Cu'o'c (checked the spelling earlier!) Relocation Committee did indeed return on the 15th, somewhat late in the day. They report that a fine ceremony was held on the 14th, after a reasonably quick council meeting resulted in the barbarians deciding they liked the idea. The ceremony wasn't too long, though the party that followed lasted well into the wee hours of the morning, with much dancing, drinking, and other barbaric uncouth behavior. None of your companions got more carried away by the excitement, though all three partook in the celebration to some extent. Several handsome (sort of) young barbarian men spent much of the night competing for Lady Ashi's attention, as she seemed to be the hero of the day, distracting her quite successfully, while Hatori observed and was amused, ready to intervene if necessary, and Noku chatted quietly with the local shamans. (Still no invite into the shrine, but Noku has no plans to marry a chieftains daughter here anyways...) -- E3
(Jon wasn't mistaken, some of this was verbally indicated during the session wrap-up, as it were, I just added a little more detail here...)
