SESSION 18 Addendum B: Treasure allocations from the outer buildings..and musings

After some review of the requirements for use, the following allocations of treasure from our cleansing of the outer buildings of Ming Yo Temple is made.

To the Masterful Noku, the entire contents of the dead hand are his. The Ring of Force Shield and the Wand of Heartripper (10 ch)(Key word: to the music of a certain band...Heartless!).

To our Shugneja who has attracted the eyes of those not even now of this realm, the great gem worth 5,000 gold pieces is her share.

To our scout and tracker the aspiring Hiruma, we give the Charm of Protection from Thieves (with the expectation that it will be turned into something else somewhere down the line...)

To our Imperial Bull, otherwise known as Miya Hatori, we allocate 2000 gold value in assorted gems or pearls. Hatori may choose amoung those listed first.

Our valiant Nezumi shall also recieve gems and pearls worth 2000 gold and may select from what remains after Hatori has chosen.

Your Honorable Samurai will take the remains of the fallen warrior and the equipment (and ultimately restore the items) and 1441 gold value in small gems and pearls.

Our two comrades, Gorvak and Isaku shall each receive gems worth a total of 100 gold.

The corp of warriors from the village are paid their earnings of 1250 gold worth of small gems, or in fact it may all be gold if other convert their gold to gems.

For those who have choices of pearls and gems, here are the values available.

Black pearls (400,500,600)
more pearls (big 60,60,100,100,110,110,120)
Pouch of Pearls (normal 8,8,8,8,9,9,9,9,10,10,10,10,11,11,11,11,12,12,12,12)
Gems (8,9,11,11,12,40,50,50,60,60,90,90,90,100,300,400,400,700,900)
4 Jade figurines worth 250 each
3 sets of "mirror chimes" worth 50 each

We also recovered a few books and ledgers that will be kept in safe keeping and returned to Waterstone at the next opportunity.

As Dm-san indicated, Ashiko and Mulan are likely to go up a level to 9th, but no one else is likely to (although with only 6 PCs along, that might skew the experience enough to push Til'k up as well?)

Our foray was on the 18th day of the first month of 1562, (and an accounting of the events shall be forthcoming at some point.)

It appears that we would need to rest the following day to permit Noku to recover from the trauma inflicted by the Gaki, and to restore spell capacity. With the many possible Diviniatory leads available, we may wish to take an extra day to explore all that we can reasonably do so.

We have alrady recieved the counsel of Magoun, whose first hand account, if it is to be believed, indicates that we face a mighty array of arcane power on the other side.

Reminder, the next scheduled session for Ernieworld is December 14th and hopefully all can make it on that day. Given the amount of possible prep and questions that might precede this set piece conflict, it would be useful to determine as much as possible ahead of time.

In fact, the first thing to determine is whether or not it is likely that our next foray will be the one in which we face the Hebi-no-ona (sp), or will it merely be one in which we continue to enter and diminish the forces in the area and again retreat. However, we should be aware that if we make enough trouble, that we might then be sitting around for a counterstrike by her on our encampment! That is one aspect that argues for making it a complete strike.

Zenako offers that she feels that they forces against us would be more manageable if we were aided by the Murimoto faction, if they are willing and will accept our leadership in the matters tactical in this battle. Their skills and forces might well be able to deal with a subset of the defenders, perhaps those in the upper portions of the Temple, while we, with Magoun's help strike deep into the basements of the site. This we need to dicuss more in the next couple of weeks.
