SESSION 19 Addendum D: Treasure Divisions from the Cleansing of the Ming Yo Temple

Well friends, your Dutiful Samurai has assessed our gains and sought to distribute them in a fair and beneficial manner.

As you may all know, Miya Hatori has assumed the Burden of the Jade Yari and will now seek the power of the mighty blow struck in battle to augment his arcane skills. The Yari is a demanding item and Miya Hatori, per the desires of the Yari has relinquished his other martial weapons and equipment to be distributed among the company.

As we left Ming Yo Temple and stopped by the Village of Osewataray (sp), we spoke with the elders and offered them a chance to gain some of the minor enchanted arms and armor that we retrieved (mainly from the Yuan-ti). The elders offered a superior price (ranging from 60 to 80% of retail) for the items and as such they acquired the enchanted No-Dachi, the large shields and the Ashigaru armor for a "cash" total of 4578. This barely offset the gold paid to the village for the troops which supported our encampment. They had recieved a total of a little over 5000 gold over the past couple of months. They also recieved the two +1 longswords we traded for the Holy Aura Scroll. Hopefully they will remember our firendship and look kindly upon future interactions with the civilized peoples of the empire.

The remaining treasures are divided as follows, as always with a mind to previous divisions and gains.

Our brave Monk Isaku, is granted the Ring of Protection +3 and asked to return the RIng of Prot +2 so that another might wear it. Isaku is also granted 500 gold for miscellaneous expenses in the coming months.

The Nobel Shugneja Ashiko is granted the Lesser Rod of Silence (per Tome and Blood) and allocated 3000 gold in "cash".

Our fierce Barbarian ally, Gorvak is allocated one of the Scimitars +2 and 500 gold in cash.

The resourceful Sohei Champion recieves the other Scimitar +2, the Ivory Mahjo tiles with gold inlay (worth 1000 gold) and 1000 gold in cash.

Our ranger scout Mulan, is presented with the Glove of Storing, with the currently enchanted No-Dachi inside, and 68 masterwork long arrows and 3000 in cash.

The ever poor Wu-jen is granted enough funds to enable him to spend much time in learned study and receives 8000 gold in "cash".

and lastly, your Samurai champion, takes to herself the Quiver of her namesake, the Ring of Prot +2, a few of the miscellaneous weapons (for future sacrifice) and 400 gold.

This division is both fair and equitable and should serve to enhance the overall prowess of the company as we endevour to ensure the safety of the realm and achieve the goals of the lords of the empire.

As for future activites, we expect to have most of the rest of the winter season before it is reasonable to travel far in the wilderness. I encourage all to seek out news of deeds that need doing, to learn what we can of the Oni lords in the mountains (likely focus of future adventures), and to reflect on the lessons learned and skills mastered during our most successful forays this past adventuring season. May the snows of winter lie gently on your brow and the rebirth of spring bring fresh vigor to our spirits.
