Howdy Folks! I did experience, three characters advanced a level:
Soshi Ashiko => 12th level Gorvak => 12th level Birkat => 9th level
Eric, you can oversee the advancement of Birkat etc., and indeed may witness hit die rolls for both Ashiko and Birkat if they want to make them.
I believe Orion has his 12th level stuff pretty figured out already anyway... :-)
Mike, I presume Gorvak will be advancing to Foe Hunter 4? Barbarian 8 would actually be a third base Rage per day, but I think you have more than enough Rages at this point since IIRC you have Extra Rage as a feat. Foe Hunter 4 increases Hated Enemy Damage Reduction from 3/- to 5/-, is +1 BAB, Fortitude and Reflex saves, and gives you Hated Enemy Spell Resistance... :-)
Foe Hunter 5 on the other hand is a bit lame, no BAB, no saves, just an extra die of Rancor...but you gotta take it before you can get to level 6 where you get BAB and all saves, and HEDR goes up to 7/-... However, you might consider whether you would be interested in adding a couple Fighter levels after Foe Hunter 4. You've been sparring with Birkat, who has some Fighter levels, and you have some time here in Hodate to put towards "regular class training" if you wanted to add that class next. As Barbarian is your favored class and you only have one Ranger level, you could add up to 2 Fighter levels without worrying about any xp penalty. And the first two Fighter levels come with Fighter bonus feats... Just a thought, it would be a way of putting your time here to good use if you choose to go that route. Indeed, you could conceivably just add one fighter level and still make it to Foe Hunter 10 by the end of the campaign, theoretically anyway... :-)
