Month 5, Day 28, Year 1563 –
The entire party returned to the Iron Fortress. We defeated the blue dragons on patrol outside the Iron Fortress, and the iron golems, pit fiends, and rakshasa inside the fortress. Hatori got the forge workers to surrender, and negotiated with the ranking priest of the Azur. The Azur are fire spirit people that were enslaved by the forge master. He agreed to destroy the unfinished Sword of Fiery Might, in exchange for being able to leave with his own stuff plus the thundering war hammer of Imperagon. He also gave us a shard of the Bloodwhite stone (Arcane Fire). The forge workers (spirits of dead smiths) were dismissed when the sword was destroyed.
We explored the fortress and located a library full of arcana, maps of the empire and the spirit world, etc. We also found the Cubic Gate.
