Webquest Goals:  This webquest was designed for NY State Regents Chemistry students, so that they may gain a greater appreciation for the importance of organic compounds in our daily lives.  In addition, the compounds and families of compounds studied, as well as their characteristics, all have relevance to content on the Regents Exam itself or to the interrelationship between science, technology and society.

In creating this webquest many factors were taken into consideration to design an activity that was an efficient use of student time.  This webquest attempts to provide an enrichment activity relevant to NYS standards that would not place undo time pressure on the students involved.
