Title: In Search of Sea Ponies
Characters: Frog Legs, random Sea Ponie and fish
Medium: Pencils, Felt Tipped Markers, Adobe Photoshop 5.0
Comments: My friend's, Sarah's, graduation gift. When I couldn't think of what else to get her, I told her to tell me what sort of a picture she wanted. And at the time we were discussing My Little Pony. So Sarah said to draw a MLP. Boy or Girl? Boy, with a frog on his hip. I drew a couple sketches out, and she decided on his color scheme. The first idea I had for this pic was to draw him laughing at another pony he had pumped into a pond. Then I switched to this idea; he was supposed to be heading down after a frog. That seemed empty and left too much space, so in came the sea pony. That sea pony did not like me for the longest time. It loved me when I colored it, otherwise, it hated me. The fish was just added because it just needed to be. I also tried to make this one really good for Sarah because when I was working on this I found out that her parents were getting divorced :(. So I wanted this extra special for Sarah, and because of it I spent the time to paint it instead of cell shading.
