Title: Roses Are Red Characters: Rose Rebellion, based off of My Little Pony Medium: Adobe Photoshop 5.0 Extra: Marco's Art Comments: Yeah I know, more pony art. But there's a reason! There is reason to my madness! I had seen Marco's art on the TP and I really liked the hairstyle and his style in general. It has this sort of almost marker look to it, which is something I've been trying to do for my comic images for a little while now. So instead of automatically trying to adapt his style to my comic characters I thought it best to adapt it to my own ponies first, then move from there. I realize that her back legs might not be right, I was addressed this by JewelKimono (thanks). Even though that may be true I was more concerned with how the coloring came out than the actual figure (that and I like drew it when I was half asleep, cough). Her hair turned out soooo pretty! I could comb that hair all day, lol! One thing that still kinda bugs me is her symbol. In Marco's art it seemed to really just blend in and seem apart of the body, and in mine it looks painted on. I'm not sure if it's because mine has an outline and his doesn't, but that was something I took note of. But I guess it's all right since what I'm trying to apply it to later won't have big pretty pictures on their hips, lol.
