Title: Noriko line thinness and colored manga trial
Characters: Noriko Nezumi from ohayo gozaimasu, DARLING!
Medium: Adobe Photoshop 5.0
Comments: This first started out more of as a line quality test. It'd come apparent to me that colored illustrations look better with thin lines where as black and white images look better with thicker lines. I'd colored her one, and like the idiot I was I didn't save, so the moment I finished my adobe wanted to shut down. I admit I was so steamed I couldn't even look at the computer. But, this little accident turned in my favor. I did some real major line editing, trying to thin the lines out more so than they originally were. Than I worked with her hair, and with much tweaking I'm very thrilled with the result. I really hope it looks like copic marker brush strokes. With her hair out of the way I finished the skin up. Since there was no real reason why I colored besides practice I added a gradient background. Overall, I'm very, very pleased.
