Title: Manly Junko
Characters: Junko from ohayo gozaimasu, DARLING!
Medium: .7 & .5 MM Mechanical Pencil, 005 Pigma Sakura Felt Tip Pens, Photoshop 5.0
Comments: This was my end in an art trade with Moony. Her first impressions of Junko were that she was a man. And well, she thought Junko looked pretty good as a man, so she'd asked me to draw him as a man. And in turn, she drew Junko and Noriko for me (which is freaking awesome by the way). I 'manified' Junko by squaring out her jaw, thickening the neck, broadening the shoulders slightly, removing her chest, thickening her eyebrows, and cutting her hair. And after looking at what I had sketched I had thought "Damn he's sexy.". I had also tried to apply the coloring style I had used with the last Noriko image, which I think worked out nicely. I also tried to place the shades on in multiple layer settings because of how markers darken when you use them. And yes, I did paint every shower tile there. And I am very happy with them. Now if all my backgrounds turned out as good. One extra note I wanted to point out. Junko isn't wearing her trademark earrings. Her mother passed down those earrings to her, which is why she always wears them. I think this is the first time I've ever drawn her without them.
