Title: Missing Page Characters: Specks the Cheetah, based off of Sonic the Hedgehog Medium: .7 & .5 MM Mechanical Pencil, 005 Pigma Sakura Felt Tip Pens, Photoshop 5.0 Comments: This is, yet again, a child based fantasy to draw a Sonic related character. Visitors of my old art site might remember 'Trixie', my other Sonic influenced character. Before I had ideas for Trixie, I had concepts for a cat character. Although Specks here is in no relation to the earlier concepts of the cat character I feel I managed to fullfill that dream so long ago. Specks happens to be named for, well, named for the word cheetah. Cheetah came from chita in Hindu, which means speckled. I made her purple because I love purple :). I wanted a character who would be competitive, who'd want to one up Sonic, which is another reason a cheetah fit so perfectly. I've never had a character to really think of only herself, and the more the idea rolled around in my head, the more I liked it. Which is why in the little description it says that she'd often switch sides depending on what appeared to be winning. I just want to go up to her and rub the back of her head in a playful manner now; she's just so cute! Well...Specks would probably kick me if I did though.
