Well, it was Thursday, the 12th, when I thought up this great idea, "Gee, wouldn't it be nice if I made a hentai chibi me for Megan for V-day!". Megan, if you don't know by now, enjoys thinking up hentai ideas alongside me, something like this would be a perfect gift for my sweetheart this year. Then, I said," When's V-day?". Erm, yeah, it was Saturday. Never again will I peruse an idea like a day before the actual date it needs to be do. Because I tell you what, for something so simplistic, it sure as hell took a lot longer than it needed to be. And this isn't the hentai version. This is the cute clothed in crap fancy underwear version. Sorry, only Megan-chan gets the nude version =^_~=. I would like to point out I tried one or two techniques I was picking up to on Wing's art. She has a distinct way to give hair shine by draping a line on burn dodge I believe over the hair. I did it to the areas that all ready had shine to give it an extra emphasis. Though I'm not too sure it worked well with the image. Another thing I noticed was how she had some really soft brush type shading, but some areas with a little harder pressure in shading. It's not too apparent in this piece, but I tried that too. And I did like how that worked, so I might be shading my softer pictures like that in the future, not sure about her hair shine technique though. I also tried something different with the pupils too. I colored the black areas with a deep blue, and then added a soft glow around the iris over the pupil with a lighter blue. It really softened up the eye, and I really like the way it looks. I'll probably continue that technique.
