Title: Kin-gali and Trinket Characters: Kin-gali (animal and big profile) and Trinket, based off of TunderCats Medium: .5 MM Mechanical Pencil, Photoshop 5.0 Comments: First off, I know the background sucks. There, it's off my chest. I worked really, really hard on this image. I had actually drawn it before the Adult Trinket image, so this particular Trinket is much younger and a little more innocent than her older self. In the preliminary work with Trinket, her outfit was purples, greens, and grays, which I really hated. So I had looked the scheme of Lynx-o's outfit and used that instead. The lighting is supposed to be coming from left and right on her, because I had wanted to try a different approach... I'm not sure how well or accurate it looks. The cheetah in the background is a king cheetah, which again, is the species Kin-gali is. Early on in the fanfic I've been writing it is explained of Kin-gali's genetic ability. Back in my childhood when I'd imagine my own ThunderCat character, she'd be able to change into a cheetah and back, and have the super speed. However, since I am older and pursuing this child hood fantasy of mine, I did sacrifice Kin-gali's super speed for this changing ability. It's a little complicated to put to words how or why she can do it, so I will leave you to ponder thing. Next, Kin-gali's profile. You are probably all curious as to why there's a glowing red eye, and the dark blue over tones. To put it simply, it all signifies that Kin-gali has a darker side to her than she lets on to, or even understands, but it also represents the presence of Mumm-Ra within the fanific since it is a glowing red eye and since Kin-gali's skin looks somewhat blueish like Mumm-Ra's. I admit, the eye was a big pain in the rear. Overall, it turned out pretty much exactly how I envisioned it, which is rare, and I'm proud of it.
